Welcome to our wonderful school.
At Lithgow Public School every child is known, valued and cared for. For more than 150 years, our school has been at the heart of the community, nurturing generations of learners and maintaining strong, lasting connections with families, local organisations and our Aboriginal community.
We warmly invite you to come and take a tour to see our classrooms alive with curiosity and creativity. Students engage in rich, hands-on learning supported by our extensive STEAM resources, and have opportunities to express themselves through music, dance, drama and a wide range of sporting programs that promote teamwork and wellbeing.
Our connection to Country is grounded in our respect for the Wiradjuri people, whose culture, knowledge and stories continue to shape who we are as a community. This connection underpins our shared values of respect, inclusion and belonging.
