"Schools Spectacular is for everyone – and that's not just the audience who are thrilled by the performances every year," Creative Director, Ms Sjolander said.

"We do as much as possible to involve students from any public school in NSW, whether they are featured performers, musicians, dancers, singers in the choir, behind the scenes or part of the parallel event, SpecFest. We are always in awe of the commitment shown by students, teachers and schools outside the metropolitan area who rehearse so diligently in the lead-up to Spec and then come together with thousands of others so seamlessly in show week. That's what makes Schools Spectacular such a uniquely amazing show."
